Antero backs off plans to increase well density
Garfield County declines to withdraw interventions

The more this process gets delayed the better it is for the health and welfare of all residents in Silt, Silt Mesa, and Peach Valley. Public awareness of the risks and inherent dangers involved in the fracking process is growing exponentially as each day passes.  At the same time I agree with Bob Elderkin, we need to keep talking. We need to keep the lines of communication open. I would like to see the Town of Silt become more involved in the issue. I realize as individual residents we are free to voice our concerns one way or another. Nonetheless gas well drilling so close to city limits affects the quality of life in Silt. I think I’ve said before, the town felt it was important enough to do a survey about a grocery store, how about a survey about gas well drilling on Silt Mesa and Peach Valley? Or maybe the SiltBOTs don’t care what we think about it …
