Three feet of new snow all at once will make for a slow, gradual opening this season. Volunteer groomers have been working since Wednesday to open up Hwy 819 and Kay’s Loop. Read all about it and see more photos at the WEMUC blog:  Friday, December 21, 2012

We need skiers and snowshoers to break trail on Eric’s Loop before the snowmobiles can get through. Snowshoers are needed to break trail on James Loop. Grooming operations will continue through the weekend. If you need me, I’ll be …gone skiing sign
