The Silt Branch Library opened its doors at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 6. This new library is over three times as spacious as the old library and features a large meeting room, two study rooms, unique children’s and teen spaces, a cozy reading area with a fireplace, and a plaza for outdoor reading and events. The library also has two designated computer areas with a total of ten computers for public use. Storytime is Wednesdays and Fridays at 10 a.m.
On Fridays, the library sponsors the 5th Element Program for elementary school-age kids.
