Greetings RSPN Friends and Neighbors!
March 1st, next Thursday, is a busy day in the gas patch. The NW Colorado Oil and Gas Forum starts at 10:00 a.m. at the Rifle Campus of CMC. This is geared more toward industry and COGCC updates/interactions, but public comments will be taken at the end. If you have anything you’d like to address the COGCC about, this your chance. The agenda will be available at the door on the day of the forum. If you have something that needs to be tabled on the agenda, email Chris Canfield: chris.canfield@state.co.us
Once you’ve recovered from that, off you go to the EAB meeting. Dinner is provided. Please RSVP if you want to take part so they can get a head count. Dinner is paid for by the industry. Last month Bill Barrett picked up the bill. This forum is geared toward community/industry interaction, followed by an educational topic. Public comments come in the middle of the meeting. Public attendance is encouraged and often a BoCC or two will drop in. The COGCC don’t get any direct feedback from this meeting, so complaints should be directed in both forums. This is your chance to hear what other people in the gas patch are dealing with (Tommy Thompson, for example) and to meet your community representatives of whom you may be completely unaware.
See you there!
